1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
  
  
• Assist with the academic and social development of pupils with additional needs
  
  
• Help deliver the curriculum effectively under the guidance of the class teacher
  
  
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement
  
  
• Build strong relationships with parents and external professionals
  
  
• Track and report on pupil progress and attainment regularly
  
  

Requirements for this 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role:

• A 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a top 20 UK university
  
  
• Previous experience supporting SEN pupils, ideally within a primary school
  
  
• Team Teach training (or willingness to complete training provided by the school)
  
  
• Confidence managing behaviour and supporting SEND
  
  
• A proactive, flexible and creative approach to support
  
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
  
• A desire to pursue a career in education or teacher training
