Are you interested in starting a role as a Behaviour Mentor in Redbridge this September?
A secondary school in Redbridge is recruiting a Behaviour Mentor to provide one-to-one and group support for pupils who need help with behaviour, focus, and engagement in lessons. This Behaviour Mentor role is ideal for individuals who are considering careers in education, youth work, or social care. It offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on young people’s lives by encouraging resilience, motivation, and positive relationships.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support pupils in managing their behaviour both inside and outside the classroom, helping them build self-confidence and develop strategies to succeed. You will also work with teachers and pastoral leaders to put interventions in place, promote positive behaviour, and create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
This Behaviour Mentor role gives you the chance to learn about behaviour management, restorative approaches, and how to support pupils with social and emotional needs. It is excellent preparation for further training in teaching, psychology, or counselling.
