Behaviour Support Assistant – Specialist Provisions, Islington

Pay: PAYE £100–£110 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2025

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We’re seeking a committed and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team this September, working in specialist provisions across Islington.

Behaviour Support Assistant – Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group support tailored to children with SEMH needs.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies that promote positive learning outcomes.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create inclusive, nurturing classroom environments.
  • Build meaningful relationships with pupils, supporting their emotional well-being and personal development.
Behaviour Support Assistant – The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience supporting children or teenagers with challenging behaviour.
  • Resilient, patient, and responsive to the individual needs of young people.
  • Confident in managing emotionally demanding situations and acting as a calm, positive role model.
  • Dedicated to improving the educational experience of children with additional needs.
