Emotional Literacy Support Assistant – Haringey – September 2025

Emotional Literacy Support Assistant - What the Role Involves
  • Supporting the emotional and social development of children through structured interventions.
  • Working 1:1 or with small groups to build confidence, resilience, and communication skills.
  • Assisting teachers in promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring and tracking pupils’ progress in emotional literacy and wellbeing.
  • Collaborating with staff and parents to ensure consistent support.
  • Interviews to begin w/c 25th August 2025.
 
Emotional Literacy Support Assistant - What the School is Looking For
The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK University, with previous child-centred experience valued highly. Schools are seeking proactive, compassionate, and committed individuals who have strong communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting pupil wellbeing.
