Location: Richmond, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444 per week (PAYE)

A high-performing secondary school in Richmond is seeking a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant to support across the Humanities Department. This Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who wants to inspire a love for learning and support pupils academically.

 
As a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant, you will assist in lessons, provide in-class support to students who need extra help, and lead small group interventions. You will work with experienced teachers and help bring subjects like history and literature to life.

 
This Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant role would suit a graduate thinking about teacher training or educational research.

 
Key responsibilities:
  • Supporting in History, English and Humanities lessons
  • Helping pupils with reading, writing and understanding topics

  • A 2:1 or above in a relevant Bachelor’s degree from a UK university
  • An interest in education or teaching
  • Clear communication and a supportive approach
  • A full-time commitment for the academic year
