Intervention Tutor - What the Role Involves
  • Delivering targeted small-group and 1-1 intervention sessions to support pupil attainment
  • Supporting classroom teaching and learning across KS3, KS4, and Sixth Form where required
  • Tracking pupil progress and adapting support strategies to meet individual needs
  • Supporting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs within mainstream lessons
  • Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to ensure pupil engagement and achievement
 
Intervention Tutor - What the School is Looking For
The ideal Intervention Tutor will hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK University and have previous child-centred or education-based experience. The school seeks a proactive, compassionate, and motivated Intervention Tutor with strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to pupil development.

  • Academic Mentor and Intervention Tutor roles: £450-£530 per week, pro rata to term time only
  • Contract: Full-time, long-term, term-time only
  • Excellent opportunity to progress into teacher training or extended school contracts following a successful placement
