Maths Teaching Assistant – Westminster (Secondary School, KS3–KS5 Support)

Are you a Maths graduate with a strong academic background, eager to gain school-based experience before pursuing a career in teaching or education? We are recruiting for a Maths Teaching Assistant – Westminster role in a high-achieving secondary school, where you will support pupils across KS3–KS5.

As a Maths Teaching Assistant – Westminster, you will work alongside outstanding Maths teachers, supporting pupils in lessons, delivering targeted interventions, and providing one-to-one or small group support. This is the perfect role for aspiring Maths teachers, educational psychologists, or graduates considering a PGCE/Schools Direct route.

What We’re Looking For in a Maths Teaching Assistant – Westminster:
  • A 2:1 or higher degree in Maths or a related subject (Engineering, Economics, Physics etc.)
  • Minimum grade A at A-Level Maths (or equivalent)
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly
  • Previous experience with young people (tutoring, mentoring, teaching assistant work or volunteering is highly valued)
  • Excellent communication skills, patience and a genuine passion for education
