A well-regarded secondary school in Lewisham is seeking a PE Teaching Assistant to support their PE department. This role would suit a graduate in Sport or a related subject, or someone with experience working with young people in a school or coaching setting.

You will support PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, assist with practical sessions and help to run extracurricular sport. The school has clear systems in place and a supportive staff team.

PE Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities:
• Support PE lessons across KS3–KS4
• Assist with setting up and supervising practical activities
• Work with small groups and individual pupils
• Support extracurricular clubs, fixtures and school sport
• Promote positive behaviour and participation

Person Specification:
• Degree in Sport, PE or a related subject (desirable)
• Experience working with young people
• Confident leading small groups in practical settings
• Reliable, organised and enthusiastic
