This is a Permanent KS1 Phase Lead role within a well-established Primary Teaching Opportunity, suited to a practitioner ready to combine excellent classroom practice with strategic phase leadership.

The school is recognised for its calm, purposeful learning environment and strong outcomes in early reading and mathematics. A knowledge-rich, carefully sequenced curriculum underpins teaching, supported by explicit instruction and consistent behaviour systems. Staff are committed to evidence-informed pedagogy, and pupils are encouraged to develop resilience, curiosity and academic confidence through a broad enrichment offer.

What the school offers:
  • Structured CPD and clear leadership progression pathways
  • Weekly coaching and senior leadership mentoring
  • Collaborative planning structures to reduce workload
  • Strong pastoral systems and consistent behaviour policies
  • A well-resourced environment with a strong academic culture

The successful KS1 Phase Lead will deliver high-quality curriculum lessons, drive standards across Year 1 and Year 2, and use assessment data to inform strategic planning. This KS1 Phase Lead – Haringey – September 2026 post includes line management responsibilities, phase-wide curriculum oversight and leading on raising attainment, particularly in phonics and core subjects.

The school is looking for:
  • UK QTS (completion of a UK-recognised teacher training programme required)
  • A strong academic background, ideally a 2:1 degree or above from a reputable university (Russell Group desirable)
  • Substantial classroom teaching experience within a UK primary school
  • Evidence of delivering structured lessons and securing measurable pupil progress
  • Confidence operating within established behaviour frameworks
  • Legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)

Salary: Inner London MPS £40,317–£52,300 (UPS up to £62,496) + TLR (commensurate with responsibility).
