Role: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant (Teaching Assistant, SEN Assistant, SEMH Assistant)
Location: East London
Contract: September Start, Contract, Full-time

Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant | Role Overview:
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs, including those with autism, ADHD or social, emotional and mental health challenges.
  • Work 1:1 and with small groups to develop confidence, engagement and positive behaviour.
  • Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Implement strategies and interventions under the guidance of the SENCO and class teacher.
  • Observe and record pupil progress to inform individual support plans.
Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant | Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, who has:
  • A recent Psychology graduate with a genuine interest in child development and education.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.
  • Confident to use initiative while working collaboratively with teachers and SEN professionals.
  • Previous experience supporting children or young people (voluntary or paid) is desirable.
