This permanent Science Lead Practitioner position is best suited to candidates who:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Possess a strong academic background — a 2:1 degree or above in a Science discipline from a reputable university, ideally Russell Group
- Can demonstrate a substantial and successful track record of classroom teaching within a UK secondary school, with clear evidence of excellent pupil outcomes
- Have experience of, or a clear aptitude for, coaching, mentoring, or leading on teaching and learning at departmental or whole-school level
- Show a deep understanding of curriculum design, assessment strategy, and evidence-based pedagogy
- Are confident operating within and contributing to whole-school improvement priorities
- Are legally entitled to work in the UK — the school is unable to provide visa sponsorship
