Specialist Teaching Assistant – Year 2 (Hearing Impairment Support)
Are you a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with hearing impairments? We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Brent (NW10), providing one-to-one and small group support for Year 2 pupils who are hard of hearing.
In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external specialists to ensure pupils can access learning in an inclusive and engaging way. You’ll use specialist strategies and communication methods, such as British Sign Language (BSL) or visual aids, to enhance understanding and participation in lessons. Your support will play a key role in helping children build confidence, independence, and academic progress.
The ideal candidate will have:

Start Date: October 2025
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Salary: £95–£115 per day (depending on experience)
