Year 2 Teaching Assistant – Kensington and Chelsea Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant looking to support pupils in Key Stage 1 within an Outstanding primary school?

An Outstanding primary school in Kensington and Chelsea, judged Outstanding by Ofsted in April 2024, is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young learners and wants to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ learning and development. Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be highly beneficial.

  The Role – Year 2 Teaching Assistant As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
  
  
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning and boost confidence.
  
  
• Provide additional support for pupils who require extra help, including those with SEN.
  
  
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
  
  
• Assist with preparing resources and supporting day-to-day classroom organisation.
