The Role The successful Art and Design Teacher will:

• Teach Art and Design across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for a suitably experienced Art and Design Teacher)
  
  
• Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons that inspire creativity
  
  
• Encourage experimentation with a range of artistic techniques and media
  
  
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
  
  
• Contribute to curriculum development within the Art and Design department
  
  
• Promote high standards of presentation, creativity, and independent learning
  
  
• Support extracurricular activities, exhibitions, and whole-school creative initiatives
  
  

The Art and Design Teacher will play a key role in fostering a stimulating classroom environment where students feel confident to express themselves creatively.



The Ideal Candidate The ideal Art and Design Teacher will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  
  
• Have strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines
  
  
• Be a reflective and innovative classroom practitioner
  
  
• Demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire young artists
  
  
• Maintain high expectations for both behaviour and achievement
  
  
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team
