This exciting Primary Teaching Opportunity is ideal for a committed practitioner looking to deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum within a structured and academically focused environment.
The school is known for its strong phonics foundations, excellent reading outcomes and consistent progress across Key Stage 2. A clear behaviour policy and centralised routines create calm, purposeful classrooms where pupils are fully engaged in learning. What the school offers:
• Structured CPD with clear progression pathways, including future TLR opportunities
• Strong instructional coaching and leadership mentoring
• Centralised behaviour systems and robust pastoral support
• Shared planning frameworks to reduce workload
• A culture of academic excellence and professional trust
What the role involves:
• Delivering a rigorous and well-sequenced Year 3 curriculum
• Using assessment data to inform teaching and secure strong outcomes
• Contributing to KS2 planning and enrichment initiatives
• Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
• Upholding high standards of behaviour, presentation and attainment
The school is looking for a Year 3 Teacher who:
• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is completing a UK-recognised teacher training programme
• Has a strong academic background, ideally a 2:1 degree or above from a reputable university
• Demonstrates substantial classroom teaching experience within a UK primary school (placements or permanent roles acceptable)
• Can evidence structured curriculum delivery and measurable pupil progress
• Is confident working within established behaviour frameworks
• Is legally entitled to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
Outer London MPS: £37,870–£50,474 (UPS up to £56,154). TLR opportunities may be available for experienced candidates. This Permanent Year 3 Teacher role is suited to ambitious professionals seeking long-term progression within a high-achieving Enfield primary school.
