Are you a Psychology or Criminology graduate ready to gain hands-on experience with children who have Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)? Join a welcoming and inclusive school in Bromley as an ASC Behaviour Mentor, where you’ll provide consistent support to pupils with ASC and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.


This ASC Behaviour Mentor role is ideal for graduates pursuing future careers in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, SEN Teaching, or Therapy.


What you’ll be doing as an ASC Behaviour Mentor:

  • Supporting autistic pupils and those with SEMH needs as a dedicated ASC Behaviour Mentor

  • Delivering 1:1 and small group sessions tailored to emotional regulation, communication, and social skills

  • Implementing structured behaviour support plans as an effective ASC Behaviour Mentor

  • Building trust and routine, using consistency and patience to help pupils thrive

  • Collaborating with teachers, SEN staff and parents in your role as an ASC Behaviour Mentor


We’re looking for an ASC Behaviour Mentor who:


  • Holds a 2:1 degree (or above) in Psychology or Criminology from a Top 20 UK University

  • Demonstrates a passion for autism support, behaviour mentoring, and child development

  • Has experience working with children (formally or informally), ideally those with additional needs

  • Is resilient, calm, and compassionate – everything you need to be an excellent ASC Behaviour Mentor

  • Can commit to this full-time role as an ASC Behaviour Mentor from September 2025 – July 2026
