Are you an experienced SEMH Teacher or an accomplished Primary Teacher with aspirations to work in SEN looking to be part of an innovative new provision within a mainstream school?

Join a forward-thinking school in Bexley as a SEMH Teacher, leading a dynamic and growing SEMH programme designed to support pupils with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.

This provision is part of an Outstanding Two-School Trust and is rapidly expanding, with the borough’s first SEMH Primary Provision to double in size by the next academic year.

SEMH Teacher | What’s on Offer:
  • Competitive Outer London Salary – MPS/UPS with SEN Allowance
  • Full-time role starting in Easter continuing for the academic year and beyond.
  • Lead and develop a pioneering SEMH provision within a mainstream setting.
  • Work closely with a highly experienced leadership team to implement innovative strategies.
  • Be part of a rapidly growing programme, shaping the future of SEMH support in mainstream schools.
SEMH Teacher | The Role:
  • Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching for pupils with SEMH needs.
  • Support pupils’ emotional regulation, engagement, and academic progress.
  • Collaborate with the pastoral, SEN, and leadership teams to ensure consistent and effective interventions.
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of the SEMH provision, influencing curriculum design and classroom strategies.
  • Be an ambassador for inclusive, innovative practice within a mainstream school.
SEMH Teacher | Who We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher with UK QTS
  • An experienced, passionate SEMH teacher with a track record of supporting pupils with complex needs.
  • Someone committed to innovation and high standards, not filling time but making a meaningful impact.
  • A collaborative leader who can work across the school and support staff in best-practice SEMH strategies.
If you’re ready to join an exciting, high-impact SEMH project and help shape the future of inclusion in mainstream education, this role is a fantastic opportunity.
