SEN Administrator & Family Liaison Officer – Bexley – April 2026

A well-established specialist resource provision in Bexley is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Administrator / Family Liaison Officer. You will act as a key link between home and school, ensuring that pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs receive coordinated, consistent support both in school and through external services.

The Role | SEN Administrator & Family Liaison Officer
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of the specialist provision.
  • Coordinate admissions, annual reviews and maintain detailed pupil records.
  • Prepare documentation for meetings and external referrals.
  • Act as a main point of contact for parents and carers.
  • Support attendance by identifying patterns, meeting with families and arranging home visits where appropriate.
  • Work alongside teaching and pastoral staff to support pupil engagement and wellbeing.
  • Liaise with external professionals and ensure effective communication across agencies.
  • Assist with reintegration planning and transition support for vulnerable pupils.
What We’re Looking For | SEN Administrator & Family Liaison Officer
  • Previous experience within education, SEND, safeguarding or family support.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Confidence communicating with families and professionals from a range of backgrounds.
  • Ability to analyse attendance or behaviour data and respond proactively.
  • Calm, consistent and professional manner.
  • A genuine commitment to inclusion and removing barriers to learning.

Location: Bexley
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract: Term Time plus 1 week
