This Graduate Sports Teaching Assistant position is based at a rapidly expanding Alternative Provision, conveniently located just a two-minute walk from Blackheath station and close to a busy high street with a range of amenities.
The school benefits from excellent facilities, including individual iPads for each student. A second site has recently opened, offering a dedicated sports space alongside a fully equipped food technology suite and workshop.

Graduate Sports Teaching Assistant | Job Summary
- Graduate Sports Teaching Assistant – Commencing in April
- Full-time term-time only Graduate Sports Teaching Assistant role
- Work alongside experienced SEMH professionals and Specialist Teachers
- Role paying £100–£110 per day (dependent on experience)
- Support students across Key Stages 3–5 with both academic learning and structured sports activities
- Deliver targeted interventions in small groups of up to 6 students and on a 1:1 basis
- Work closely with students with SEMH, ASD, trauma-related needs, and behavioural challenges
- Assist with the wider school day, using sport as a tool to improve engagement, behaviour, and wellbeing
- Contribute to providing a consistent and structured educational experience within an Alternative Provision setting
