Pastoral Administrator – Hayes Hillingdon – January 2026

Medical & Student Support
  • Act as first point of contact for minor illnesses/injuries
  • Complete calm, proportionate triage
  • Manage medication safely and maintain medical plans
  • Keep records accurate and the medical room purposeful
  • Escalate safeguarding concerns appropriately
Pastoral & SEND Administration
  • Maintain SEND registers, TA timetables and key documents
  • Support EHCP review timelines and prepare paperwork
  • Liaise with families, external agencies and the local authority
  • Prepare behaviour letters, reports and reintegration documents
Attendance & Behaviour Support
  • Assist with follow-up calls, letters and meetings
  • Update simple attendance records
  • Support pastoral staff by preparing summaries and templates
Reception & Communication
  • Provide reception cover when required
  • Greet visitors and manage sign-in processes
  • Handle calls, messages and inboxes professionally
  • Ensure families and visitors receive a warm, efficient experience
Team & Professional Standards
  • Uphold school routines, expectations and conduct standards
  • Maintain a calm, organised presence across shared spaces
  • Contribute to a safe, structured and positive school environment
  • Support exam administration and invigilation when needed
